Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffNovember 21, 2016With a well-designed and easy-to-navigate interface, PhotoMarks gives users multiple options to customize their text and logo watermarks without losing quality. The program offers available previews for each step and a well-written tutorial. It processes images quickly and without any hiccups. This software comes with a free trial version that adds a watermark on output. To remove the watermark, you need to purchase the full version for $29.95. Upon startup, the program offers a link to tutorial that can help new users find their way and learn more about each option, but most should be able to jump right in. The program's interface consists of a step-by-step wizard. The steps to follow are: Add Photos, Edit Photos, Setup, and Process. These steps are also included in the main menu. The program lets you choose a group of photos, which you can drag and drop into the interface. You can then edit these photos by applying specific filters, adding text and logo watermarks, decorating, and transforming. However, you can't do much professional-grade editing to your photos, save for cropping. You can crop photos, individually, but you have to do it by pixel, not by creating a box around the photo like you would in other programs. Once you've finished editing, PhotoMarks processes your images in a batch. It's fast enough and you can choose where the finished photos land. This lets you keep a backup copy in case you mess up.PhotoMarks takes some of the work out of adding filters to your photos, although it's no match for top-tier freebies like GIMP. However, this program is not really an image editor but more of a batch watermarking tool, and as such it functions as intended. Novice users will particularly appreciate its intuitive interface and the tutorial that walks them through each available option.Editors' note: This is a review of the full version of PhotoMarks 1.0. The trial version contains watermark on output.
