Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffOctober 9, 2015It's a good thing CopyWriter is freeware. It doesn't go far beyond Windows Notepad and offers even less functionality than WordPad. You'll find most of the basic text-editing tools, such as the ability to italicize, underline, or bold words. You also can tweak the font style and size or perform a global find and replace. Although the program's interface is nearly identical to those of other basic text editors, it is nice you can perform most actions via hot keys. CopyWriter now supports multiple languages, but you'll have to download a separate file for each one. The same goes for the extra utilities, which include a calendar and HTML tagging tools. Even though it is free and doesn't take a toll on system performance, CopyWriter is worth downloading only if you really don't like Notepad.
